Project Manager

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of security system installation projects from initiation through closeout. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing project timelines and resources using Jira and Smartsheet , and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for security system installations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Track project tasks, milestones, and deliverables using Jira and Smartsheet Coordinate with technicians, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders Facilitate project kickoff, status, and closeout meetings Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and client requirements Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project budgets Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field 3-4 years of professional project management experience (internships and co-ops may count toward experience) Demonstrated proficiency with Jira and Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients Preferred Qualifications PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification (or actively pursuing) Experience in the security systems, low-voltage, construction, or technology installation industry Familiarity with budgeting and resource-planning tools #J-18808-Ljbffr tsu.edu
