Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Youth Support Caregiver to provide individualized support for children and youth. This role focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment while helping youth develop confidence, independence, and daily life skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and supervision for youth
- Assist with daily routines, activities, and community engagement
- Encourage social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Support positive behaviors and follow individualized support plans when applicable
- Assist with mobility or personal care as needed
- Maintain open communication with families and care teams
- Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or youth preferred
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
