Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• Fill oral medications, automated dispensing cabinets, code cart trays, and pharmacy kits
• Compound parenteral medications and ensure compounding logs are completed and filed appropriately
• Manage, maintain, and ensure all reporting measures are met and completed in an appropriate time frame
• Notify Technician Supervisor of stock-outs and borrowing medication as needed in a timely manner
• Complete and maintain documentation of completed and in-progress tasks including communicating status at shift hand-offs and completing end-of-day procedures

What Qualifications you will need:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience in the healthcare field is preferred
• Must be familiar with general pharmacy practices and procedures
• Current and unrevoked CPhT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is required
• Must also be licensed in state of residence and employment
