The Team Lead is responsible for assisting the team in a variety of tasks to ensure production continues. This can include creating lane schedules, monitoring appropriate queues throughout the day, helping mitigate production fails, and stepping in to help complete tasks.

This position reports to the Formulations Supervisor and is part of the Commercial and Regulated Products Value Stream located in Coralville, IA, and will be an on-site role.

SHIFT: M-Th 9pm-8am

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Organize, prioritize, and direct a team of associates in two functional areas

• Assist with associate training and development

• Communicate with management and associates to advocate for associate concerns and help ensure management directives are carried out

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum associate degree in a science-related field (biology, chemistry, etc.) with equivalent relevant experience of at least 2 years. Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.

• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience preferred

• Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Troubleshooting skills, particularly with Formulation-based software

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
