Industrial Designer

Industrial Designer - Beauty Packaging New York, NY | Onsite | Up to $35/hour We're partnering with a growing company in the beauty and packaging industry to find an Industrial Designer who can bring creative ideas to life. This is a hands-on design role where you'll work closely with creative, engineering, sales, and design teams to develop innovative packaging concepts and compelling product experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent 3D modeling and visualization skills, and a genuine interest in the beauty industry. This position offers the opportunity to take ideas from initial concept through visualization and physical prototyping. What You'll Do Develop innovative packaging concepts that support product and company objectives. Create custom packaging designs for beauty brand customers. Bring concepts to life through 3D modeling, product visualization, and presentations. Partner with engineering, sales, and design teams throughout the development process. Build hands-on packaging prototypes using 3D printing and other prototyping methods. Research market and competitor trends and help translate insights into product opportunities. Help maintain a strong, consistent design language while delivering highly detailed work. Contribute ideas that elevate design capabilities, standards, and long-term product strategies. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Bring a fresh perspective, creative thinking, and strong design point-of-view to the team. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. 2+ years of industrial or product design experience. Experience with beauty brands, packaging, or a strong understanding of the beauty industry. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, and KeyShot . Strong 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization skills. Experience with 3D printing and physical prototyping. Strong product storytelling and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work independently. Collaborative, creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
