Assistant Controller

ASSISTANT CONTROLLER Direct-hire role south of Pittsburgh. Workplace Type: On-Site Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, invoicing, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory Ensure accuracy and integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including P&L analysis Manage accounting for business and property taxes, as well as work-in-progress (WIP) Serve as the primary point of contact for annual financial statement and 401(k) audits Enforce strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP Provide analytical support and cash management guidance to executive leadership Partner with operational leaders to deliver financial insights and support decision-making Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team to drive efficiency and accuracy Collaborate closely with senior finance leadership on reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA and/or MBA in Finance strongly preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and private industry Demonstrated experience in an environment with inventory complexity Experience with treasury, cash management, and cash flow analysis Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and impact business performance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to understand and support complex operational and transactional environments Strong Excel skills and demonstrated experience working within an accounting ERP system #J-18808-Ljbffr
