TITLE OF POSITION: Tutor

35 Hours/week

Alamo Elementary

STARTING DATE: 26-27 School Year

CLOSING DATE: August 9, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m.

Requirements:
• All tutors must be "highly qualified" as defined by ESSA (a minimum of 60 college credits or

successfully passing the ETS Paraprofessional Test).
• A degree in elementary education or experience working with children in an instructional

setting is preferred.

Responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):
• Provide tutoring for individual and/or small groups of students in a pull out or inclusion

program
• Assist in progress monitoring as instructed by the teacher, record the data and provide the data

to the classroom teacher or supervisor, progress monitoring as instructed by the teacher
• Assist the classroom teachers in the organization of materials and lessons
