You will coordinate activities across stakeholders to define, manage and meet interdependencies between systems, subsystems and components that meet requirements. You will build engineering and architecture models to conduct technical assessments and recommendations that inform key technical decisions.What you will be doing:Here you’ll have the opportunity to work on the following:Optimize the functional and physical interfaces within a prototype demonstrator module and with the customer platformApply systems engineering and robust design tools and techniques to resolve technical problemsDesign and integration of products, systems, and componentsDevelop math models of functional systems, and ensure system-level design functionality within the project design processDefine and verify requirements for products, systems, and componentsLead, coordinate, and influence interdisciplinary subsystem teams to solve complex problems, manage requirements, manage interfaces, and deliver system solutions.Support or lead risk assessments, design reviews, safety reviews, regulatory reviews, and technical audits from a functional aspect.Participate in the system verification strategy development, validation & verification test planning, and test execution activitiesPlanning and management of product change, design technical approval and technical investigations.Who we’re looking for:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience ORMaster’s degree in Engineering ORJD/PhD in EngineeringSystems Engineering / Systems Integration experienceIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires USA CitizenshipPreferred:Experience with Systems Engineering and Systems Integration conceptsFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, including the tools and methods usedFamiliar with INCOSE, and knowledge of industry standard tools and methods for systems engineeringExperience with delivering systems in a fast-paced environment, from initial requirements and concepts to final hardware deliveryStrong written and verbal communications skillsStrong written and verbal communications skillsDemonstrated technical project planning and management experience and ability to lead a multifunctional engineering teamExperience interfacing with customers on technical program issuesExceptional people and communication skillsComfortable dealing with ambiguityDemonstrated leadership abilityDemonstrated organizational and prioritization skillsExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsStrong customer focusGas turbine engine installation, verification, and performance experienceOur vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
