This includes service request fulfillment, incident response, and routine maintenance and auditing. This position also requires the ability to identify and effectively communicate opportunities for improvement and reducing technical debt.**Qualifications & Requirements:*** Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems/Industrial Engineering, or related field. Professional experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.* 5 years of systems administration experience.* Deep understanding and operational knowledge of scripting languages, operating systems, current technologies, disaster recovery procedures, and monitoring tools.* Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication, organizational, and analytical skills required.* Ability and desire to work in a team environment.**Indicators & Attributes for Success:*** Knowledge of IT systems and support practices.* Knowledge of IT service management principles and best practices.* Knowledge of cyber security and privacy principles and best practices.* Knowledge of operating systems and computer networking fundamentals.* Ability to identify and communicate security risks and how they impact the Enterprise.* Technical computer skills, including the ability analyze and manipulate sets of data, learn new software, and understand programming/scripting language (Powershell, SQL, etc.).* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills.* Analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to identify trends to resolve issues.* Ability to effectively learn and apply new technologies.* Ability to embrace concept of continual improvement to help streamline processes and improve user experience.* Ability to work independently and under pressure, manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities, and deal with changing priorities while maintaining personal effectiveness.* Ability to take initiative in completing daily tasks and special projects.* Ability to focus on tasks with greatest impact and see them through to completion.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Operational support, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of corporate servers and IT services across local and remote sites.* Determines system requirements, designs solutions, and installs and integrates new or replacement system hardware and software.* Monitors system performance and responds to system incidents and outages.* Ensures system security and compliance.* Works with IT Architects to aid in design, implementation, and continual improvement of infrastructure.* Other Duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
