Master Electrician

Master Electrician – Austin, TX Pay Rate $45.00 - $50.00/hour Position Summary The Master Electrician is responsible for electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and related services on roadway lighting, facility lighting, and electrical systems. Required Experience / Qualifications Valid Texas Master Electrical License required Experience with 480V and below 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems Roadway lighting and traffic signal experience preferred but not required Strong professionalism, work ethic, and leadership abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work independently and supervise a team when needed Supervisory experience preferred Computer experience preferred Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL is a plus Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment testing Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, and emergency response schedules Responsibilities Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance with minimal supervision Maintain roadway illumination and facility electrical systems Support interior and exterior electrical maintenance operations Follow established safety procedures and company protocols Perform preventive maintenance activities Operate from elevated heights using bucket trucks Complete work orders using handheld devices and maintenance software Assist with retrofit projects and additional electrical work efforts Communicate effectively with management, team members, and client representatives Respond to emergency situations and on-call needs as required Schedule Full-time day shift position Some scheduled night work required Emergency response availability required Flexibility needed during snow and ice weather events Benefits Competitive pay Annual bonus opportunities Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, sick time, life insurance, disability coverage, and employee assistance programs Training and advancement opportunities Background check, driving record review, and controlled substance screening required prior to hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Corporation
