Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join ourhospitalsfinance team! In this vital role, you willbe responsible formanaging core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting financial reporting processes. Yourexpertisewill helpmaintainaccuratefinancial records, facilitate smooth month-end close procedures, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.Manage accounts payable andaccountsreceivable processes using financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar systems.Assistwith month-end and year-end closing activities, including ledger review and financial statement preparation.Support compliance efforts related to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and internal audit procedures.Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform detailed account analysis toidentifydiscrepancies or variances.Maintainaccuratedata entry within various accounting systems like Workday, ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, or Paychex.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, financial reporting, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
