Description:

• This role is essentially a Forward Deployed Engineer / Technical Lead focused on Supply Chain, Customer Portals, and Logistics Systems , with a strong blend of architecture, hands-on development, and client-facing leadership.
• Looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer / Technical Lead to drive enhancements for the Supply Chain Connect portal (also known as Cloud Hardware Customer Connect ).

Soft skills:

Need to be really good as will be working closely with the client on AI implementations/code base improvements/validating business logic.

Need hands-on experience with setting up AI agents, skills, etc., as well as strong Java experience and ability to code independently.

Accessed via the Google Partner Connect framework; this portal serves as the core user interface for managing Bloom hardware logistics and tracking shipping to external customers. You will act as the pivotal US anchor-evaluating existing tooling, interfacing directly with client stakeholders, architecting features, hands-on building key improvements (using internal stacks like Jetski), and delegating scaled development to the client's engineering team in India.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in technical systems architecture, or technical product engineering with focus on enterprise web applications.

• Prior background in Supply Chain Systems , Hardware Logistics, B2B Customer Portals, or Order Management Systems (OMS/SCM) is preferred.

• Proficiency in full-stack web technologies (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Go, or Python).

• Hands-on familiarity with Google development workflows, infrastructure, and UI frameworks (experience with Jetski or Google Partner Portal architectures is a major plus).

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and secure cross-platform data integrations.

• Proven track record leading offshore delivery teams (e.g., scoping, task allocation, and joint code ownership with teams in India).

• Exceptional client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate complex hardware logistics workflows into technical requirements.
