Job Summary
Elev8 is redefining nightlife in downtown Columbia, and we're seeking charismatic and energetic Bartenders to deliver exceptional drinks and create unforgettable guest experiences. This role goes beyond just mixing cocktails; it's about cultivating an exciting atmosphere and engaging with our guests. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoy providing outstanding hospitality, we would love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and premium spirits quickly and accurately.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a fun, energetic atmosphere.
- Engage with guests and build relationships that encourage repeat business.
- Recommend premium spirits, specialty cocktails, and featured promotions.
- Accurately handle cash, credit card, and POS transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
- Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with Missouri liquor laws.
- Collaborate with barbacks, servers, security, and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and bar setup as needed.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or nightclub preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and premium spirits.
- Outgoing personality with exceptional communication and hospitality skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales-minded with the ability to recommend premium beverages and enhance the guest experience.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Dependable with strong teamwork and work ethic.
- Weekend and late-night availability required.
- Must meet Missouri's legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
