Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a unique community-based psychiatry opportunity in Massachusetts. This role combines outpatient and community outreach care within a multidisciplinary PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) team serving high-acuity psychiatric patients.
Assignment Details

• 4 5 days per week
• 24 hours total per week
• Community and office-based outpatient practice
• Would prefer local candidates
• Mileage reimbursement provided for community outreach

Coverage Area

• Worcester Catchment Area
• Auburn Area

Practice Setting

• PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment)
• Supports high-acuity individuals living in the community with diagnosed psychotic disorders
• Patient population may be any age
• Full spectrum of treatment and support needs depending on acuity, medication management, and treatment phase

Patient Volume

• Total census: Approximately 80 clients
• Weekly encounters vary based on acuity and level of care
• Some weeks may involve 25 patients
• Other weeks may involve 10 or fewer patients

Team Structure

• Reports to Medical Director
• Works within a multidisciplinary PACT team
• Community-based collaborative care model

Requirements

• Psychiatric NP or PA
• Active Massachusetts License Required
• DEA Required
• CSR Required
