Paralegal (New York)

Our law firm is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Paralegal to join our team in a full-time, in-person role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in supporting attorneys, staff, and clients with professionalism and accuracy. It may require travel to clinics across all boroughs and transportation costs will be covered by the firm. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, document organization, and file management
• Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Paralegals will be expected to travel to clinics for in-person intakes.
• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and other case-related materials
• Maintain physical and electronic case files
• Calendar deadlines, hearings, meetings, and appointments
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties as needed
• Assist with printing, scanning, filing, mailing, and general administrative tasks
• Prepare exhibits, binders, and materials for meetings, hearings, mediations, or trials
• Conduct basic legal and factual research as assigned
• Help track case progress and ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a law office preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully
