An expanding organization is looking to add a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to lead and manage AP operations across a multi-entity structure.

This position offers a blend of hands-on execution and team leadership, ideal for someone who enjoys driving accuracy, improving processes, and overseeing high-volume workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the day-to-day accounts payable function across multiple entities
• Review invoice activity, AP aging, and payment requests to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Oversee weekly payment cycles and manage cash disbursement activities
• Compile and present payment reports and cash needs analysis
• Resolve discrepancies, vendor issues, and coding inconsistencies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with the accounting team during month-end close
• Support audit requests and maintain organized documentation
• Guide and develop AP staff while improving workflow efficiency
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance systems
• Healthcare or Behavioral Health exp is a PLUS

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in accounting or accounts payable
• Prior experience leading or supervising AP functions
• Solid understanding of how AP impacts the general ledger
• Background in multi-entity or multi-location environments
• Strong Excel and systems skills QUICKBOOKS MUST
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle large volumes of transactions in a fast-moving environment
