What You'll Do:

As a Manual Machinist / Fabricator, you'll play a key role in manufacturing high-quality training equipment by:

• Producing components through manual machining operations, including shearing, drilling, deburring, and bench work.
• Assembling products according to specifications.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspecting and monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Troubleshooting and correcting defects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Measuring, marking, cutting, and preparing materials for fabrication.
• Fabricating jigs and fixtures as needed to support production.

Welding Experience is a Plus:

• Perform fit-up and tack welding operations.
• Prepare material edges through beveling and cutting.
• Clean, chip, and grind weldments before and after welding.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of machining experience, including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of welding and fabrication experience.

Schedule:

• Day shift only, Monday - Friday.
• Start at 7:00 a.m. and finish at 3:30 p.m. 
• No required overtime.
