Overview Lakeshore Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant in Fox Point to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. What we offer: Competitive hourly pay: $25/hr Full-time Schedule: Tuesdays 7am-7pm with a 2-hour lunch break from 12pm-2pm, Wednesdays 2pm-7pm with no lunch break, Thursdays 7am-7pm with a 2-hour lunch break from 12pm-2pm, Fridays 7am-3pm with a 30-minute lunch break from 11am-11:30am, the 3rd and 5th Saturdays of each month from 8am-3pm with no lunch break Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability benefits 401(k) plan Support for continuing education and professional development Modern office with advanced dental technology Responsibilities Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications One year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation) High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care Eagerness to learn and grow within the role Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
