Operating Room Registered Nurse

Wills Eye Hospital is hiring an Operating Room Staff Nurse in Cherry Hill, NJ at the Wills Eye Surgery Center - Cherry Hill, NJ . In this role, you’ll maintain the proficiency of the surgeons' needs, techniques, and requirements at all times in the scrub or circulating role. You’ll manage patient care coordination, surgical workflow, and clinical support throughout the perioperative process, and contribute to a positive patient experience. You’ll be successful if you consistently deliver safe, compassionate, and detail‑driven patient care. Key Responsibilities Adheres to strict Universal Precautions and Blood-borne Pathogens protocols. Supports anesthesia, maintains patient airways, including adult and pediatric patients. Assess the learning needs of patients/significant other(s) and has knowledge of normal growth and development stages. Cares for specimens and cultures as directed by set policies. Administers drugs and responds to drug-related complications in a timely and safe manner. Active PA State Nursing License required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. One (1) year of clinical experience required.
