Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Special Education Teaching certification
• Demonstrated experience in a K-12 setting, especially with individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Proficiency in adapting curriculum and instruction for varying abilities
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Comfortable utilizing technology for instruction and documentation
• Flexible and positive approach to working with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and administration to create a cohesive learning environment
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student goals, progress, and challenges
• Maintain clear records in accordance with district and state requirements
