Turner - Metalworking Specialist We are a metalworking company located in Atlanta and we are seeking a highly skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating machinery and tools to shape metal pieces into specific parts or components. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications for metal pieces Set up and operate various machinery such as lathes, grinders, drills, and mills to cut and shape metal pieces Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products Monitor the performance of machines, make adjustments as needed, and perform maintenance tasks to keep them running smoothly Inspect finished products for quality control purposes Work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, brass, and copper Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process Requirements At least 3 years of experience as a Turner or in a similar role Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints Extensive knowledge of metalworking techniques and machinery operation Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and quality standards Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one We offer competitive salary of $1000 per week along with opportunities for growth within the company.
