Construction Safety Manager Location: Weston, WI Duration: 5 Days (Start: 10/26) Type: 1099 Contractor Compensation & Schedule Local Pay Rate: $60/hr Traveler Pay Rate: $52/hr Per Diem: $150/day (7 Days Per Diem - travelers only) Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday | 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Hours: Approximately 50 Hours Per Week Why This Opportunity? This short-term assignment offers an opportunity to oversee critical pre-installation activities involving electrical conduit work, conveyor system installation, contractor coordination, and operational site safety compliance. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety with 3+ Years of Safety Experience OR CSP or CHST Certification with 5+ Years of Safety Experience OR OSHA 510 Certification with 7+ Years of Safety Experience Current First Aid / CPR Certification Personal Laptop or Tablet Required Minimum of Three LOTO Tags Ability to Pass Drug Screen and Background Check Preferred Qualifications Experience Supporting Active Operational Facilities Electrical Construction Safety Experience Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Program Experience Conveyor Installation or Material Handling Experience Amazon Project Experience Contractor Safety Management Experience Strong Communication and Field Leadership Skills What You'll Be Doing Provide daily onsite safety oversight for electrical conduit installation activities Monitor conveyor and material handling system installation operations Verify proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are implemented and maintained Ensure barriers, signage, and hazard communication requirements are followed Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and safety observations Review work plans, permits, and pre-task safety preparations Coordinate with project management, contractors, and site personnel Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements Assist with incident response, investigations, and corrective actions if needed Maintain required safety documentation and project records Support and reinforce safe work practices throughout the project Communicate proactively with contractor supervision and client representatives Technical Knowledge Candidates Should Have Working Knowledge Of OSHA Construction Standards Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Programs Electrical Safety Practices Hazard Communication Contractor Safety Management Active Facility Construction Requirements Conveyor and Material Handling Systems Site Access Control and Operational Risk Management Incident Investigation and Corrective Actions Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Pre-Task Planning and Safety Auditing What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a hands-on, field-focused safety professional who is comfortable working within an active operational environment.
