Join Our Dynamic Team as a Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care!

Job Description:


- Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Floating Requirement: Yes, flexibility is key!
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional patient care for diverse diagnoses including:
- Neuro
- Cardiac
- Trauma
- Respiratory issues such as COPD and DKA
- Sepsis and Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- CV stepdown and post-operative care


- Utilize specialty equipment:
- Temporary pacemakers
- Chest tubes
- Arterial lines (A lines)
- Bipap machines
- Neptune Vapo


- Manage patients on chronic vents with assistance from Respiratory Therapists

Patient Demographics:


- Adults aged 18 and older
- Be part of a team serving a 64-bed unit with 15 designated Neuro beds

Requirements:


- Up-to-date resume showcasing 2+ years of experience in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with documented travel experience
- Completed skills checklist matching the specialty
- Valid driver's license with an address matching the demographic requirements
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- NURSYS report for licenses verification including ACTIVE NY License & all RN licenses
- Requested Time Off (RTO) must be included at submission
- EMR experience required: EPIC
