Role Lead software delivery excellence within Bayer's medical device software organization, focusing on agile transformation, process improvement, and organizational capability building. Responsibilities Coach and develop software leads and scrum masters Implement agile best practices Enhance delivery predictability, metrics, and transparency Foster continuous improvement culture Influence cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and regulatory, to optimize software development for SaMD and SiMD products Requirements Bachelor’s in computer science or related field Extensive leadership experience in software development, particularly in regulated medical device environments Proven success in agile transformations, with expertise in Scrum, Lean, DevOps, and metrics Strong communication and influencing skills Experience managing global teams in complex delivery models Preferred qualifications Master’s/MBA 10+ years of leadership SAFe/PMP certification Six Sigma Deep understanding of medical device software development lifecycle High-value specifics Medical device SaaMD and SiMD, regulatory compliance, global teams, agile frameworks like SAFe, CMMi, and metrics-driven improvement.
