Northwell Health is seeking BC/BE full-time Movement Disorders Physicians to join its rapidly expanding Parkinson's and Movement Disorders program. This role involves providing superb clinical care, participating in innovative care models, engaging in collaborative research, leading progressive community programs, and contributing to the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Join a multi-disciplinary team across various locations, including Long Island, Manhattan, and Westchester, and contribute to a program recognized among the largest in the Northeast.Practice InfoThe Parkinson's and Movement Disorders program is among the largest in the Northeast.The program provides comprehensive medical, rehabilitative, and surgical care in its primary academic locations and care centers.The surgical program includes an active deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program and High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU).The multidisciplinary team includes specialty-trained, board-certified neurologists and neurosurgeons, as well as nurse practitioners, nurses, neuropsychologists, and social workers.A unique, dedicated, and specialized 12-bed Parkinson's and movement disorders inpatient unit is established at Glen Cove Hospital in Long Island.The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across all regions.ResponsibilitiesProvide superb clinical care.Participate in innovative care models.Engage in collaborative research.Lead progressive community programs.Contribute to the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.CompensationCompetitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus.Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.BenefitsPaid medical malpractice insurance.Retirement contribution 403(b) match and 457(b) plans.CME allowance.Shift & ScheduleFull-time opportunities available.RequirementsM.D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited).Completion of Neurology residency and Movement Disorders fellowship.Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible.Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
