Location: Maple Grove, MN Pay Rate: $20.00+ per hour, based on experience Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Available Shifts

1st Shift

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday through Thursday
• 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Thermoforming Machine Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Maple Grove, MN. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that values safety, quality, teamwork, and employee development. The Thermoforming Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting thermoforming equipment to produce high-quality products while meeting production and quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate thermoforming machinery according to production specifications.
• Install, remove, align, and secure molds, tooling, and related equipment.
• Verify materials, tooling, and production requirements prior to machine startup.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections and document production results.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate more complex concerns when necessary.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Assist with changeovers and production line support as needed.
• Meet productivity and efficiency goals while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Thermoforming, plastics manufacturing, or related production experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with quality inspections and production documentation.
• Experience performing machine setups and changeovers.
