Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. Will consider experience in PACU, ICU, telemetry, Cath Lab, or surgery center on a case-by-case basis.

Unit Details: Cardiac Observation Unit caring for Cath Lab patients pre- and post-procedure; high-risk, high-acuity patient population. Bedside procedures performed in COU include Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions (CV). Responsibilities include admitting patients; preparing patients for Cath procedures, cardioversions, and TEE; recovering patients following Cath with conscious sedation; sedating, circulating, and documenting bedside CV and TEE procedures; and discharging patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Days: 3 x 12s (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030). Call is on a rotational basis, approximately once every six weeks, but may be as frequent as once every 4 weeks. Call includes Saturday from 0700-1700 and Sunday from 0700-1400.

7 days maximum time off
