Job Title

SMH Level 3 RN – Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby

Location

New York, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | 36–48 hours per week | Includes weekends, holidays, and on-call per unit need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum women and healthy newborns in a Level 3 setting
• Support and educate mother-baby couples throughout the postpartum period
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, fellow nurses, and social workers to deliver high-quality, coordinated care
• Uphold a culture of teamwork centered on integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum of two (2) years of postpartum nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Fetal monitoring certification
• Experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment
