Must-Have Skills & Experience
We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with deep expertise in Java API development and AWS cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will support Agile Scrum teams to drive critical modernization efforts. The primary goals of this project are to modernize the technology platform to successfully handle increasing business volumes, implement new workflows that drastically reduce manual processing, and improve overall operational efficiency to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
- Pay Rate: Up to USD $60-62.00/hr
- Location: Durham, NC (100 New Millennium Way)
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Core Technical Stack: Java, AWS cloud infrastructure, and Oracle (PL/SQL, SQL, normalization).
- Experience Level: 7+ years of hands-on experience supporting distributed applications.
- CI/CD Pipeline: Experience across EKS, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Udeploy, Artifactory, Terraform, and Stash.
- Observability & Monitoring: Familiarity with Splunk and Datadog.
- Industry Experience: Prior BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) or fintech/brokerage domain experience is required .
- Project Focus: Prior experience with application modernization is required .
