Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in financial reporting, complex transaction analysis, and regulatory compliance within the insurance industry. Benefits & Extras Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote after training) 401(k) with company match and discretionary contributions Health, dental, and vision coverage Fitness center and onsite cafeteria Tuition discounts at participating Alabama colleges Strong internal culture with advancement opportunities Opportunity for annual performance bonus Compensation $75,000 – $95,000 annually Annual bonus up to 10% What You’ll Be Doing Prepare and analyze complex internal and external financial reports Apply GAAP and regulatory accounting guidance to transactions Reconcile and review complex general ledger accounts Evaluate and document appropriate accounting treatments Support budgeting processes and special projects Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards What You’ll Need to be Considered Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA preferred 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment Experience applying SAP and/or GAAP accounting treatments Public accounting and/or insurance industry experience is a plus Ability to identify issues and recommend sound business solutions How To Apply We’d love to see your resume, but we don’t need it to have a conversation.
