This flexible, contract opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional eager to work with elementary-aged children in a collaborative, educational environment. Providing services for 2-5 hours per week, you’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve greater independence and participate more fully in school activities.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in North Carolina
• Previous experience in a pediatric, educational, or school-based setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong communication skills to deliver clear guidance and support
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals
• Flexibility and time management skills essential for itinerant roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel between school sites to deliver high-quality physical therapy services
• Assess students’ motor and functional skills for educational access
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students
• Document progress and maintain compliant records as required by the school
• Consult with teachers and educational staff to support each student's goals
• Participate in IEP meetings (as requested) to provide updates and recommendations
