The Accounts Payable Clerk will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and clerical support related tasks to the accounts payable department of the administrative office.  Experience and knowledge in accounts payable are required.          

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform data entry and process payments.     
• Process intercompany receivables.
• Assist in payroll processing and data entry using ADP payroll processing software.
• Manage phone calls into the accounts payable department on occasion.   
• Communicate via telephone to supervisors of other MHP locations regarding accounts payable matters as directed. 
• Organize overflowing paper documents, distribute required information via post office, courier, telephone and e-mail with accuracy and detail. 
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.  
• Prepare, review, and organize financial reports and/or other miscellaneous documents and reports as directed by accounts payable using Sage accounting software. 
• Record and post accounts receivables and payments.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school level diploma and degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.  Strong knowledge of computers and all Microsoft Office Programs.
