Our client, a professional services firm, is looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team.  The official title of the role is Client Finances Specialist, which is essentially a bookkeeper, but for multiple entities.  Knowledge of bookkeeping, balancing accounts, budgeting and overall problem solving skills are critical for this role.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has:

• Strong bookkeeping (or checkbook keeping) and attention to detail.  Pennies matter.
• Understanding of personal banking or finance skills (bill pay, receiving payments, budgeting, projecting personal expenses).
• Understanding of medical expenses (NOT a medical biller and not from the medical office perspective, but from a consumer or recipient of medical bills)
• Ability to manage multiple banking accounts, reconciling them, paying bills, receiving income, etc.
• Some sort of experience dealing with courts or court paperwork
• Prefers an introverted or quiet environment as concentrating on the numbers is critical.
• Degree in business, financial, accounting or the like.

This is a great opportunity for the person who likes to work with their head down, solving problems, prefers tasks to social activities, strong attention to detail and communication skills.  Solid career opportunity so must have longevity (been through economic cycles) in previous roles.  Salary of $75 - $85k plus excellent benefit package.  Small company.  100% in office, 40 hour work week.
