Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime.
• Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to perform repairs.
• Dismantle machines and equipment for inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment conforms to safety regulations.
• Communicate daily issues and information to supervisors and other employees as needed.

Essential Skills

• Industrial Electrical Experience with PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, Drivers, and panel signal experience.
• Manufacturing Experience.
• Strong Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.
• Previous Tube Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Capable of writing simple correspondence.
• Effective in presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Mathematical skills including calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Application of basic algebra and geometry concepts.
• Problem solving and individual/group facilitation skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Capability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wilkes-Barre, PA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Wilkes-Barre,PA.
