Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – 3–4 Days Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join its Washington, DC office. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic HR leader who thrives in a sophisticated, fast‑paced legal environment and enjoys partnering with senior leadership to drive business success. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, business acumen, executive presence and hands‑on HR expertise. This individual will serve as the primary HR Business Partner for a key office, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership while supporting a broad range of people initiatives. Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead HR Business Partner for a large office, providing strategic guidance to business leaders and management teams. Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Lead organizational change initiatives and support business transformation efforts. Provide coaching and consultation on employee relations, performance management, talent development and workforce planning. Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to identify trends, inform decision‑making and present actionable insights to executive leadership. Develop compelling presentations and communicate HR strategies through data‑driven storytelling. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and influence business decisions through trusted partnerships. Support the adoption and optimization of HR technology and emerging AI tools to improve processes and employee experience. Ensure HR programs and practices comply with applicable employment laws and firm policies. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree required 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or HR leader Previous Human Resources experience within a law firm is required Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions Strong background in employee relations, performance management, organizational development and change management Experience using HR metrics and analytics to support strategic decision‑making Excellent communication, presentation and executive‑level relationship management skills Preferred Experience supporting executive leadership teams within a legal environment Familiarity with HR technology platforms and practical applications of AI within Human Resources What We're Looking For We're seeking a confident and consultative HR professional with proven experience in the legal industry who can operate independently while building strong partnerships across the firm.
