Registered Nurse - Night Shift Float (12-Hour Shifts)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift float position. The RN will provide exceptional care across various medical and surgical units, ensuring quality patient outcomes. This position requires a versatile and adaptable nursing professional capable of handling diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Float between medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units as required.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation and data management.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, with a scheduled commitment of 36 hours per week following a one-week orientation. Please note that there is no guarantee of hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC preferred.
