About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Construction Technology to spearhead the strategic growth and operational performance of its construction technology business. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with dealership objectives and market opportunities. This role requires a leader with a strong background in commercial and financial acumen, capable of driving technology revenue and profitability across various business segments. Key responsibilities include leading market development for a range of technology solutions, expanding recurring revenue streams, and ensuring customer adoption and value. The Vice President will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing technology organization, establishing cross-functional collaboration, and fostering innovation to maintain a competitive edge. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction Technology position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in construction equipment, technology, or a related industry. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in business growth, organizational development, and cross-functional initiatives, as well as strong executive communication, strategic planning, and decision-making skills. A deep understanding of construction equipment applications, customer operations, and technology-enabled productivity improvements is essential. Preferred qualifications include senior leadership experience with major industry players and a background in developing recurring revenue or subscription-based business models. The ideal candidate will have established relationships with OEMs, technology partners, and construction industry customers, and be adept at translating complex technology solutions into clear customer value propositions.
