Float Pool Registered NurseFloat pool nurses should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Candidates must have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a Psych or Behavioral health setting. Float nurses will work as experienced nurses across multiple inpatient units. The patient population includes children, adolescents, and adults. Candidates will need to demonstrate solid clinical judgment. Strong assessment and delegation skills are essential. Leadership qualities are also necessary for this position. Candidates may be required to work as the charge nurse during a shift without additional pay. All nurses will be expected to float to meet facility needs. Medical marijuana cards will not be accepted for purposes of employment. Candidates must pass a mandatory drug screen and fingerprinting prior to employment. All RNs must have their permanent license in hand at the time of application.
