Program Description:
The Finance Department at RBHA manages the agency’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. The team includes the CFO, Controller, Finance Manager, Financial Reporting Analyst, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountants I & II. Department responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, grants management, internal controls, accounts payable and receivable, audit preparation, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Job Summary
Apply accounting principles to manage financial records, reporting, and compliance with greater autonomy. Support budgeting, audits, and financial analysis across departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and primary responsibilities below are intended to describe the general requirements of this job and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties.?Other duties may be assigned.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and agency policies
Support budget development and monitoring
Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting
Provide guidance to junior accounting staff
Other duties as assigned
