About the Role:
HealthWealth Pharmacy in Houston, TX is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our team full time! Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and adherence
• Perform drug utilization reviews (DUR) and clinical screenings for each prescription
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers on medication therapy management (MTM)
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation
• Process insurance claims and resolve billing or prior authorization issues

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
• Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) pharmacist license in good standing
• Previous retail, community, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, pharmacology, and pharmacy law
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and dispensing systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
