Pharmacy Shipping SpecialistUnder the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor, pack and ship prescriptions following all shipping procedures. This is a onsite position, in office presence is required. At this time we are seeking candidates located within comfortable driving distance of Lakeland, FL. The schedules we are offering at this time are:Monday to Friday: 12pm to 8:30pmMonday to Thursday: 2pm to 12:30amFriday, Saturday, Sunday: 7am to 7:30pmTraining schedule: Monday - Friday 10:am - 6:30pm for approx. 2 weeksEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccurately ship prescription orders for all three pharmacies in a timely manner.Follow all shipping procedures and each step on the shipping checklist when packaging an order.Responsible for stocking freezers with ice packs.Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and stocked.Accountable for receiving and signing for all deliveries that come into the facility.Responsible for keeping area clean and adequately stocked with boxes and supplies.Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.Responsible for ordering supplies and boxes when needed.Accountable for contacting the courier or post office for any reason such as late pick-ups or special requests.Responsible for other duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceREQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalentOne year minimum of shipping/receiving experience strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to lift 30lbs.Ability to drive a handheld forklift.Ability to work in a standing environment.Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously.Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.Attention to detail.WellDyne Can Offer YouMedical, Dental and Vision BenefitsMedical Savings Account Options with Company match401K after 90 days of employmentEmployee Assistance ProgramLife and Supplemental insuranceEducational ReimbursementPaid Time OffShift Differential working overnight hoursWork Environment / Physical Demands This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged standing in front of a computer.
