Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a Special Education Paraprofessional, supporting learners in K-12 settings. Provide essential assistance on a 1:1 basis or within classroom groups, helping students with diverse abilities reach their academic, social, and personal milestones. Qualifications:

• Experience supporting students with disabilities and varied learning needs
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and understanding in all interactions
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
• Proven ability to implement positive behavior strategies and follow district guidelines
• Experience providing instructional assistance and adapting lessons under teacher guidance
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with individual students or support the whole class
• High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethics in an educational setting
• Organizational skills to support accurate data collection, observation, and progress monitoring
• Comfortable following IEPs and supporting students in achieving individualized goals

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with K-12 students, either in a 1:1 or classroom support capacity
• Help implement instructional programs and reinforce lesson content
• Assist in collecting data and tracking student progress on goals and objectives
• Collaborate with educational teams, including teachers and service providers
• Use positive behavior supports to promote an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate records at all times
