Plant Director

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Work Location: Operations Leadership Role (Relocation Assistance Available) Purpose Lead a major manufacturing operation to achieve safe, reliable, cost‑effective, and compliant performance while delivering production, quality, and financial objectives. Serve as a key member of the operations leadership team, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and long‑term business performance. Success Profile Strong leader with a proven ability to improve safety, productivity, reliability, cost performance, and team engagement within complex industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and process functions. Drive world‑class safety performance, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. Deliver production, quality, cost, and budget objectives. Manage operating budgets, capital projects, and cost improvement initiatives. Develop and lead high‑performing teams through coaching, succession planning, and talent development. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Partner with executive leadership to align plant performance with company objectives. Embed UNA Culture values, reinforcing leadership behaviors, collaboration, and performance discipline. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. 10-15 years of progressive industrial leadership experience. 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, processing, or heavy industry environments. Strong experience in cement, mining, aggregates, lime, steel, construction materials, or similar industries. Demonstrated success leading large operational teams and managing plant performance. Knowledge of budgeting, maintenance systems, operational excellence methodologies, and SAP preferred. Familiarity with MSHA and/or industrial regulatory environments preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
