Essential Job Functions Supports the Produce Manager in the overall performance, efficiency and profitable operations of the Produce department Follows established departmental procedures for receiving merchandise including inspecting the product when delivered, pricing the product and restocking cases to ensure freshness and quality, accuracy and product rotation Provides excellent customer service and addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner Assumes responsibility for ordering produce in the absence of the Produce Manager Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, checking codes, rotating, and removing out-of-date products Washes, cuts, peels, wraps and prepares fruit for stocking Maintains accurate department signage and pricing Maintains back stock in good order Maintains a safe, clean and well‑organized working and shopping environment Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices Operates and sanitizes all equipment in a safe and proper manner Essential Skills and Experience Must possess a love for local food and an interest in telling the story behind it Must conduct oneself in an honest, professional and respectful manner at all times Must possess a love of people, interact with people well, and possess a desire for excellent customer service Able to take direction, work independently, and as a member of the team Must be highly motivated, hard‑working, and have an enthusiastic attitude Must pay attention to details, be organized, and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Must have problem‑solving skills, be flexible, creative, and able to adapt to change when required Must possess good interpersonal skills and communicate well verbally and in writing Must have reliable transportation and report to work in a timely manner Pay and Benefits Pay starts at $15.00 per hour Wage increase available if exceeding requirements Paid Time Off Company Vision and Dental Plans with affordable premiums 25% – 50% RWM Employee Discount Holiday Closures Rosewood Market is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to Equal Employment Opportunity regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, veteran status, disability, history of disability or perceived disability.
