Requirements:

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and customer-focused Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our practice. As the primary point of contact, you will deliver exceptional customer care while managing patient intake, appointment scheduling, and front office workflow. The ideal candidate brings strong multi-tasking skills, EMR proficiency, and a genuine passion for creating a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients professionally, manage digital intake/check-out processes, collect co-pays/balances, and maintain a clean, welcoming reception area
• Schedule appointments accurately, verify insurance coverage, prep charts, and secure required referrals prior to visits
• Maintain precise EMR records, manage incoming calls and emails, and strictly protect patient privacy (HIPAA)
• Collaborate closely with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and keep front desk inventory stocked and organized

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Sharp organizational skills with proven ability to multi-task, manage EMR charting, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; dedicated to providing warm, professional service to patients, families, and staff
• A dependable team player willing to work flexible hours (including occasional Saturdays) and travel to regional office sites as needed

Experience & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role within a medical office setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical privacy practices is preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to disclose the compensation range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, as well as benefits.
