Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Contract: 13 Weeks with the possible extension
Schedule: 0630a-5p
Looking for scrubbing skills for multiple service lines including Ortho, Ortho sports, Neuro

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support surgical procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of surgical technologist experience with previous experience in Neuro (Spine & Brain) OR Orthopedics (Total Joints).

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures by maintaining a sterile field.
• Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and surgical staff.
• Perform surgical counts according to hospital policies.
• Ensure proper handling and availability of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures.
• Follow infection prevention, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols.
• Support Neuro and/or Orthopedic surgical procedures.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification from AHA – Required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent – Required
• Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience – Required
• Previous experience in Neuro (Spine & Brain) OR Orthopedics (Total Joints) – Required
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
