Overview Pediatric Radiology Faculty Position The Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position, at the rank of Assistant Professor or above, in the Division of Pediatric Radiology. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and hold board certification in Radiology. Candidate must be pediatric CAQ certified or eligible. Responsibilities Strong interpretative skills in pediatric body imaging in all modalities (plain films, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI) including advanced applications. Collaborate clinically and interpersonally with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to a track record of teamwork. Participate in the education of residents, fellows, medical students, and in research and other scholarly activities. About the division and facilities The Division of Pediatric Radiology provides inpatient and outpatient clinical imaging services to patients at multiple NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital locations across NYC, including NYP/WCM and Komansky Children’s Hospital, as well as Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. Pediatric imaging services are also provided at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, NYP Lower Manhattan Hospital, Weill Cornell Imaging at New York-Presbyterian and affiliates. The 60-bed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Alexandra Cohen Hospital includes a dedicated MRI and fluoroscopy/operating room within the NICU. Compensation Salary ranges between $275,000 - $550,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range is provided in compliance with New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements, excluding bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries consider factors such as internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
