The Opportunity
\nPRN hospitalist days at a 139-bed Prime Healthcare hospital on the St. Clair River. APP support on the floor, an open ICU of roughly four patients with 24/7 tele-intensivist backup, and Epic throughout. A department small enough to learn in one shift and stable enough that the next one feels familiar.

- Day rounding with APP support. \n
- A small open ICU with 24/7 tele-intensivist coverage behind you. \n
- A predictable census in a department you can pick up cold. \n
- Epic , so the chart is one you likely already know. \n
Must-Haves
\n- \n
- MD or DO \n
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine \n
- Michigan license, or eligibility in process \n
Nice to Have
\n- \n
- Existing Michigan license — faster to credentialing \n
- Availability for recurring blocks \n
- Epic familiarity \n
What Working Here Is Actually Like

- $160 per hour. \n
- Malpractice and tail both covered. Tail is the one people forget to ask about until they leave. \n
- Epic. \n
- Credentialing handled by a team that does this constantly. \n
- No minimum annual commitment. \n
- Physician-owned and physician-managed since 2012. When you escalate a problem, it reaches a physician who still works clinical shifts. \n
- Licensure is faster than you expect if you're coming from out of state. Michigan participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, so if you already hold a qualifying license elsewhere, adding this one typically runs one to three weeks rather than months. \n

IHP is not a locums agency; these are ongoing program positions with stable, named teams.
