QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class "A" CDL License (Required)
- Current DOT Medical Card (Required)
- Incident-Free Driving Record (Preferred)
- Experience Hauling Wood Products: 1 Year Minimum (Preferred)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate log trucks safely, following all company and DOT safety policies .
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with dispatch, coworkers, and loading site personnel.
- Take proper care of company vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate and legible daily trip logs in compliance with DOT requirements.
- Secure loads appropriately to meet safety standards during transport.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision .
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions .
- Flexibility to work overtime as operational needs require.
