Credentialing Coordinator

USPI Baylor Medical Center at Trophy Club is seeking a motivated Credentialing Coordinator II to join our team. The position verifies the professional licensing, training, and certifications of medical staff to ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards. Job Summary The Credentialing Coordinator II establishes effective working relationships with physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors, and works with Senior Management to meet facility goals per bylaws and CMS requirements. Qualifications Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, business correspondence and memos. Ability to write complex correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in group situations to patients, physicians and other employees of the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong computer knowledge and technical skills; specifically, with Excel. Knowledge of Credentialing software is critical. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Independent decision-making skills. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the policies and guidelines, facility credentialing plan and bylaws and the accreditation/credentialing standards established by JCAHO, AAAHC, NCQA, and HCFA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
